Standard guidelines for a safe, peaceful, and harmonious hostel environment.
Timings & Entry
- The main gate closes precisely at 10:00 PM. Entry after this time is strictly prohibited without prior permission from the warden.
- Students must be present in their respective rooms during the attendance call at 9:00 PM.
- Overnight stay outside the hostel requires an approved Leave Request submitted at least 24 hours in advance.
Cleanliness & Hygiene
- Students are responsible for keeping their rooms clean and tidy at all times.
- Garbage must be disposed of in the designated dustbins provided in the corridors.
- Wasting water or electricity is strictly penalized. Ensure taps are closed and lights/fans are switched off when leaving the room.
- Pasting posters or writing on the walls, doors, or furniture is strictly forbidden.
Prohibited Activities
- Possession or consumption of alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes, or any illegal substances is strictly banned and will result in immediate expulsion.
- Ragging, bullying, or any form of harassment towards fellow students or staff will not be tolerated.
- Playing loud music or making noise after 11:00 PM (Quiet Hours) is not allowed to ensure a peaceful study environment.
- Cooking inside the hostel rooms using electric heaters or stoves is a fire hazard and is completely prohibited.
Visitors Policy
- Visitors are only allowed to meet students in the designated Common Area / Reception.
- Visiting hours are strictly between 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- No guests (including parents or friends) are permitted to stay overnight in the student's room.
Acknowledgment
By residing in the hostel, you agree to abide by all the rules and regulations stated above. The management reserves the right to amend these rules as necessary. Non-compliance may result in fines, suspension, or permanent eviction from the hostel premises.
